Deb--Both quilts are spectacular!! The fact that the doll quilt is so tiny makes it really specail. Those are some little bitty stars!
Your Garden Medley wallhanging is wonderful too. I cannot believe that it is your first attempt! Did you take a class from Karen Kay or did the class you took use her pattern??
When we were living in Carlisle PA in 1999-2000 I had the privilege of meeting Karen Kay and seeing some of her work in person. She came to a luncheon and did a trunk show. I got to be a "quilt handler" for her! It was awesome--she deserves every award she has ever won!!

Thank you so much ! I did take a class with Karen and it was my first applique project. She uses the plastic templates and spray starch. But since her class I switched to freezer paper which I like much better. Her picture quilts are *wonderful*

You all just make me laugh out loud... louder then the little yellow face can show... :lol:
I do have plenty of WIPS and fabric for a logcabin quilt and a squirrel on the design wall..........hhhmmm ... you may have created a monster!
