It think it is impossible to write a tutorial of how I design a quilt. There are no rules! A quilt top of a solid fabric is like a playground for me or comparable to the canvas for a painter. Everything is possible. I am a person who loves balance, simplicity, repeat and order in my designs and of course you can see it here. But to write down a step-by-step-instruction of how to create a almost perfect quilt design seems impossible to me. So sorry...

GORGEOUS! I have yet to try my hand at a wholecloth quilt, but have always wanted to do one. I don't think I'm brave enough to design my own. You are doing a fabulous job and your quilt is beautiful.
