Practice, practice, practice, how I hate the word. I want the perfection without the "practice" it takes to get there. I get too distracted and could never ever follow a line anywhere. I keep trying tho. Your work is beautiful and something I hope someday to live long enough to obtain. I hear marking is the secret to success. I promise myself to do better in the new year.

Thanks for all the wonderful comments.
Trust me, it took a TON of practice. But, the biggest change was my sewing machine. I had what is considered a really good quilting / embroidery sewing machine, but I just couldn't do FMQ on it. When I got my new machine just over a year ago, I was finally able to do it ... so if you are really struggling, maybe see if you can try it out on a different machine? See if it is really you? LOL ...
