    This one is made from 1.5" strips. The only thing I really wish is that I had made it bigger. Since I do have plenty of scraps, I'll probably do another one only make it bigger. It's lap quilt (? maybe a bit bigger than that) size now, but I really like it.

    I finished this yesterday using various off whites/whites for the binding.

    It's beatiful!!! And I agree with your hubby - 1.5" strips are a little tooooooo narrow for me!!

    I don't think you're crazy in the least. Creative and talented and determined. The quilt is beautiful. I love to see a myriad of whites and creams in your background. Makes the quilt look so rich.

    I don't usually do something like this "without a break". IOW, I'd work on it for a while and then work on something with bigger squares/pieces and then go back to the smaller pieces. I can't do it nonstop like some here apparently can who only work on one project at a time... I'd be in the looney house if I did that!

    I think you are talented, and thrifty. This is magnificent!! Look what beauty you have produced from those tiny pieces. I absolutely LOVE it.
