I will laugh about this some day......

Sorry about your quilt but it will surely be funny in the future. I have younger twin sisters. When they were about 2 they found scissors, hid behind the dining room drapes and proceeded to cut each other's hair. They were a sight! It took a long time to grow out but we laugh about it now. It defines the meaning of twins being "double trouble".

What a cute helper!
I can relate and, yes, you will laugh later!
My son "helped" me when he was 2 1/2 years old. I left him with my mother-in-law while I went to rehearsal for my cousin's wedding. While I was gone he clipped little snips from the top to bottom of my cousin's veil. He said, " I helped you make the wedding, mommy! I cutted it." I was in shock! And panicked! So close to the wedding~What was I going to do?
I was able to redesign the veil and not have to make a trip back to the store for more fabric. The wedding was fabulous but I didn't tell the bride until years later.
My "little helper" is 26 and getting married this summer.

I also found that he decided to crash the laundry detergent off the counter today into quite the mess. Yesterday he spilled a pan of (cold, thankfully) leftover eggs all over the kitchen floor, and while I was cleaning that up, he spilled a brand new soda....it goes on and on and on.... :)
So, I had to patch in some pieces with the leftover fabric. It was all I could do...
I am sure I will laugh hysterically about this some day, my Son's Masterpiece. Happy Mother's day Mama's!!!

I served pre-bitten rolls for dinner (it was just family, anyway), stacked another baby gate on top of the first one to make climbing harder, and started getting gray hair.
Yeah, I thought stacking two gates would work too, but NOOO! Years ago I badly needed to shower, so I stacked 2 gates to keep my just under 2 yr old in the den while his infant sister was in the lvng rm in the play pen. After quickly showering, I discovered that my son had climbed 2 gates, gotten into my pocketbook, took my lipstick, climbed into the play pen and painted his sister's face. I wish I had taken pics, but at the time I was just very concerned for the infant. Everyone was fine.
