It wasn't me. I would have been afraid to buy it, the purchase would have made the local paper.

Our guild has sponsored two "Ugly Fabric Quilt Challenges".
The first time I selected the fabric when I was in Lancaster, PA.
The Amish lady at the quilt shop asked rather sheepishly what I was planning to do with the fabric. When I explained, another customer piped up and declared indignantly that she thought the fabric was lovely. My friends and I had a good laugh about that when we piled back into the car to go to the next shop. A couple of guild members also thought the fabric was not ugly.
When we had the next challenge the same thing happened. I was sure I had selected the ugliest fabric ever. But no, once again, a couple of ladies loved it! The guild members did a great job with their entries.
