I am not sure how to start a new topic so forgive me if this is improper. I LOVE quilting : the entire procss. I love quilters and am interested in perpetuating our craft. So,I have taught my neice to quilt and she loves it,too. Both my grandmothers were quilters and I love the stories and "tips" they passed down. My maternal grandmother used an odd dinner fork at the quilting frame to pull out her basting stitches my Mom told me. Then my paternal grandmother told me that every woman should make up all her aprons with 2 pockets on them: one to hold a bit of handwork and the other pocket to hold her snuff box. I love passing on these stories to folks who learn to quilt or just appreciate quilters. I wonder if anyone else has similar stories to share? Thanks I look forward to hearing from you all

Congrats! I love my clover iron. Watch out for it as it quickly gets HOT!! And they sometimes slide around, because of the cord going off the ironing board or some other silly reason. I think you'll love it too.
