    Ninni, I always use muslin. I like to hand quilt with it. I have used different if it is a baby quilt. Love some of the backs. I guess I am lazy by the time I get to that point and just take the line of least resistance!

    I think I've shown all these before. I try to use all my leftover fabric and extra blocks on the quilt back.

    Oh, no. That is the quilting showing through on the back. It was a plain cream colored flannel. Here's the front: (and ignore the mess in the studio!)

    Here's 2 more I found, ok make it 3

    A baby quilt I made for a friend. I used the lighter one in the front too.

    I used extra blocks from the front to piece the back so I didn't have to use a ton more fabrics

    I usually use muslin because I hand-quilt mostly and don't like too many seams on the back...tough on the fingers..lol
    Those backs are really pretty could easily be the fronts..... :)

    Shelly ,The quilting is absolutely beautiful on that quilt!! How much do you charge for something like that? Hope you don't mind me asking.
