I'm facinated by watercolor quilting. I drool often over the book I have that has so many incredible pictures of watercolor pieces (the one with a piano on the front), but have only made one wall hanging. Although the background of another is called watercolor piecing. Since I want to see yours, I guess it's only fair to show mine. It was done earlier in my quilting days when I knew nothing of making curves with squares, so the stream doesn't flow too well. But my husband likes this one.

I really like your pastel garden. It's lovely.

Here's my one and only attempt at a water color quilt. It isn't very big. I have lots of flower fabric now so someday I'll try another one.

I followed directions from a Gai Perry book.

Oh Yvonee--that is stunning!! How could anyone look at that and not feel happiness? Thank you for sharing that.

I definitely think you should try another. :D

Girls, take a look at this site. I was curious as to what was on the net that would be helpful for the rest of us. Any comments on the value of this site? This is a new concept to me and perhaps others as well.

All I saw are political points. :( Where are the quilts? Did she do that to get quilters to peek at her views? :-) Or are there really quilts somewhere. :?

Edited to add--don't click on Political Points--scroll down farther!! Thanks June!

There is a box at the bottom of the page that is divided into 4 sections. I found the 1st 3 interesting, but the 4th, the political stuff, I skipped.

Sorry if this site was not helpful to you. It was the 1st one I found

    Here is another site:

    http://www.quiltingbydesign.net/qra-watercolor-quilts/

This one should be more helpful. It lists sites that offer patterns and photos of watercolor quilts.
