has anyone seen the book "One Block Wonder Encore". I have a chance to have it shipped from a friend, is it the same as the 1st book? Or is it just different patterns? Are the floating squares in the first book?

All I can say is WOW!! I'd love to see you take this to a show, bet you'd wind up with a blue ribbon plus Viewer's Choice.
    Love this.

oh how gorgeous!!! I really, really want to have a play with the interlocking cubes. I really love the way all the different sized cubes all fit in to the design.
I have a OBW ready for quilting but it only has the boring old ordinary cubes lol

Your OBW is fantastic. Love it. Try to send the image to the author. Please consider entering them in a quilt show just like the others wrote.
I made two (from the first book) and did not feel that they were ready for the quilter. They need the open cubes/colors. Now that she had the other books published, maybe I will not have them as UFOs.

I don't have the first book, but I believe the cubes are not in that one, but they are in the "Encore" book. The interlocking ones are in the (third) "Cubed" book, and it also repeats instructions for the small cubes.
