not sure what those tiny squares are on the fairy squares but can they be used for the center of the logs?????. I would just make it up as I go, which is normally what I do. It's going to be very pretty

I have 'color issues' so my opinion on colors doesn't count too much! Having said that,
I suggest that you make each quilt a giant log cabin, with the Fairy panel as the center. You can use purples and pinks strips, left side/top in lighter colors, right side/bottom in darker, but complementary, colors.

Use the smaller fairy blocks on the back so that the quilts will be two sided. You could use one of the blocks as part of the label, too.

I made my nephew a quilt around a fishing panel - all borders. He loves it, I love it, and everyone who has seen it says that they like it. He picked the fabrics, too, and each one represents something he likes about camping and fishing. By the way, his quilt started out as a 'yellow brick road' pattern, but I couldn't make it work too many fabrics and colors for my color challenged eyes!

I think this particular panel is very soft and pastel in color so I would not add strong colors.

Fairy frost pastels would be great but most likely not affordable for something you do not get paid for. Maybe you can add just a little here or there but stick to the pastels.

Some of the most beautiful quilts have been made with these panels. I agree that the smaller ones are not needed and are taking away from the main panels. Maybe make a pillow sham with some of you do want to use them or put them on the back. You can just applique them onto the back fabric or onto the sham by just turning under the edge.

A simple border and simple blocks of the right fabric is all it needs.

Here is an idea on how to use the small panels alongside the large panel. I am not sure if you have enough small panels or additional fabric to do this.

Love the fairy blocks & panel. Not sure about the log cabin blocks. Hopefully you can get some ideas from the above links. I saw some really gorgeous fairy quilts! Thanks for posting Annaquilts.
