I think a band of color that's in your quilt and then use all the colors for a prarie points finish!

    This is gorgeous.
I agree that Piano Keys border would work. Welldone

Absolutely gorgeous! I think that either a piano key or a ribbon border would finish it off nicely.

It is a very beautiful quilt, thank you so much for sharing. What type of ribbon border are you considering the curling ribbon? I found this link with several borders that you might consider. I kinda like the prairie points as they seem to close the quilt but don't complicate.

Your color sense is incredible. Excellent work. How about more white for the border, say 4 to 5 inches and then bind it with scrappy strips of whatever colors you have left. If you are up to it, repeating the flying geese border all the way around would be heavenly. Also, you could try a Tide Stain Stick on the spot.

I did something like that in this quilt: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-82165-1.htm
I love that border, dunster. I was going to say that the quilt did not even need a border until I saw yours.

I would wash the quilt in Synthrapol to get out any stray dye, and then Retayne to set the colors permanently.
