    I have found if you let people know you collect scraps for quilts, it's amazing how many people love to clean out their fabric -- and not throw it away!! It's better than my birthday and Christmas wrapped up into one!! LOL!!! I have a "dog bed" bag to donate at every guild meeting. Believe me, these are truly scraps (usually less than 1/2 inch).

    It just feels good that somethings are designed with such useful things and turn out to be a great looking and admirable stuff. I would also like to say that I also just kept on looking towards it. This really is a great looking scrappy quilt.

    Nice & bright quilt! I used to throw out scraps... until I joined this board. I have a whole new appreciation for all to be done with them

    I love string quilts for the very same reason - there's rarely a scrap that's too small. Your quilt is full of life - looks like lots of fun to make!
