Oh! Thanks for sharing!!!!! This quilt is really sunny, bright and cheery. I can only add that I adore your freedom of form with your scraps. I, too, cringe when people throw out their scraps. Scraps are a "gold" mine for creativity just waiting for someone like you to work your charms....

Thanks for all the kind comments. The gold was intended to be stripping around each 6" square. Wow it only takes a small piece to over power with the gold. I had made 6 squares. I had to take them back up stairs and whack them all up and then make new squares out of the whacked up ones. I started this when my shoulder was broken and I had had surgery on the other shoulder. I could not do accurate cutting or much of anything else. I did find that I could push those little scraps through the machine. If you choose to do something like this, do starch your blocks heavily before you cut because you have bias everywhere. I loved doing this and I am making one with 12" squares now. My grandkids love it because they can pick their quilt fabrics out of the quilt. So much fun. The name of the quilt is not Scrap Happy although I might use that on the 12" blocks. The name is "If life gives you scraps...". Thanks again for all the kind comments on my Scrappy Happy.
