I don't post much; but I really like the looks of this quilt and I have so many scraps. I looked at the Vestibule pattern and searched for the Square Cross block, but the V. pattern didn't quite look like yours and couldn't find the square cross block, so could you please share (or anyone) the pattern or block for this one. Thought for sure Quilters Q. would have it, but not. Any info would be welcome. Thanks.

I am sure that this quilt will help to cover you with warm, cozy memories. I also love the term scrap abatement project. I need to go on a long one myself after I finish my ufo's pile. It would make me so happy to use up those bins of fabric.

Wonderful, touching story. Makes me think of how I sometimes feel about my perennial flower bed too. So many things in there from other women in my life who are now gone. Great way to use up your stash & rekindle good memories!

It made me happy to work on it & think of her. There is fabric in there from the first Halloween costume I made my now 26 year old son & so many other fabrics that brought back good memories. I was determined not to buy any fabric for this quilt & even pieced the back from scraps. I did have to buy some of the solid fabric for the stars & the border & binding. I decided to name it "If this Quilt Could Talk" because chances are if I have ever made something for someone there is a piece of it in this quilt.
