    before we wore out all my grandma's quilts we had such fun remembering the things she's made the whole family and her own dresses and aprons, the last one is stored as tattered rags, I just can't throw it away.

    I really like your quilt -- both the front and the back. Every quilt has a story -- and every piece in your quilt has a wonderful memory.

    What a wonderful quilt and a wonderful story. The scraps from your 26 year old son costume, I know I don't have any that old! ( not old but you know what I mean) . I love your quilt both sides. Enjoy the memories and your work. Blessings.

    And you my dear is what quilting is all about. Thanks for sharing your story, it gave me a renewed way to look at my mess, and that I needed! BTW I love the quilt and knowing your attachment to it made it one of the most beautiful quilts . Great job.
