I have to be careful with these when I have my 1/4" foot on. I remove the pins when I come to them, but if I'm not paying attention and don't remove the pin in time, it can bend the little metal "runner" on the foot. Had this happen a couple of times during those senior blonde moments.

Done that too with the Daisy flat head pins.

The 401s can sew right through straight pins if you're in a hurry, I do.... but in moderation.

Been there...done that...and really, really try not to now. That pin was hard to get out! Had to cut the flat head into little pieces to get it out of the stitching.

I too have sewn over them... but what I find to be worse is that I always prick myself loads with this type of pin... lots of little blood spots!

    Hugs

I've done that. I have a few pins in my pincushion with holes in the head. Serves as a good reminder whenever I pick one up. LOL
