    The light solid is the same in all four pics. I'm not sure why it is so bright in B and C. In A and D it shows closer to the true colour, the prints in all four seem to be pretty close to true.

    Well, I made a quilt for my granny, and it had a lot of purple... but I guess it depends on what she likes.

    I think it would be a good idea to ask her, as a PP suggested, if you really aren't sure what colors she likes. Or try to sneak it into conversation somehow and find out what colors she prefers.

    I'm attacted to D. Maybe you can throw in a white to lighten up the colors. But I would go with what colors she likes.
