my charities are Animal Rescue, Labs Rescue, the local SAR, guide dogs, and a local school. Then when I have spare items I go to the thrift shop that supports the local school extra activities, the local VNA, gray hound rescue-usually at Petco, retiring military/police dog. I have this overwhelming feeling that most people can help themselves and the kids and animal can't-They are trapped by a society the doesn't care. I always wish I could do more-but retirement cut into the cash flow!

Then I read this board and realize-you guys DO care.

It's a beautiful quilt and worth every penney of the $2,000. I'm happy they were able to raise that much money and it was kind of you to donate your beautiful quilt.
