Just got a call from Wisconsin Airedale Rescue. They had a live auction at a fundraising event last night. The quilt that I finally was able to turn loose of sold for $2,000.
It's not that the quilt was such a masterpiece, it's just that Airedale lovers will do anything to help Rescue.
This is the quilt, I'm sure many of you will remember it.

Now, this is the kind of news that makes my day. I am a veterinarian for an animal rescue organization (when I'm not quilting), and this just makes me so happy! Beautiful Work + Generosity=a Better Life for Animals! How wonderful that your talent will help such a worthy cause!
