Back in December, I posted pictures of this scrappy quilt top that I made out of 1872 half-square triangles. http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-81391-1.htm

Pattern name is Scrap Angles, from the book 101 Fabulous Rotary Cut Quilts. My quilt's name is Wisdom Gleaned.

Well, I recently brought it to a local professional long-arm quilter and it's done now, and I am enthralled with it! Love it! I just want to look at it all day!

Since the quilt top reminded me of faceted gem stones, I wanted the quilting to look like that too. No feathers or flowers, just diamonds and geometric shapes.
    Ahh... I'm very pleased.

I love when a quilt comes together and then the eyes play tricks on you. I think that is so cool. It gives it more depth and interest. You quilt is so beautiful.
