    I'm thinking a bit different than everyone else: What about a narrow border in a blue and brown stripe or a scrappy one (1" ) and then one in the dark blue (2.5" ) with a rust binding? (Just example sizes.)

    I love, love, love your quilt. Have purchased a whole bag full of plaid material to do a manly quilt for my DH. Was Was not sure what patterns exactly, but may use hints of your beauty in mine. Thanks for sharing. I love the dark blue border with the red binding.
