I'm needing a hug

I am so sorry you evidently ran into the chief of the quilt police, obviously he felt the need to be a "quilt judge" as well.
I personnally love your quilt, and think that it is beautiful. I appreciate all the time and effort that you have put into it (because I know). I also believe in
"Judge not, lest you be judged"

Since the sting of "grumpy old man" comments might forever attach themselves to your quilt I have magnanimously decided to help you by taking the offending item away. Seriously, it is absolutely beautiful, and as has been said earlier some people are just unhappy and want to spread that instead of joy. Thanks for showing that fabulous quilt!

Tell him to wake up and join the 21st century!! he is not the quilt police either! don't let others judge you-if you like it that's all that matters. I think your quilt is absolutely marvelous and anyone who hand quilts gets extra kudos from me! {{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}

Beautiful quilt, you are talented.
I would say: Old man, you just opened up a can of worms for your education. Then launch into what the quilting world is doing. The quilting for causes, for benefits, for the love of the art. It's so sad when a person such as this fellow allows his world to become smaller and smaller and not make strides to self improvement and learning. Most of us spend our whole lives learning, exploring and yes, enjoying our fellow man. Even this old geezer who was rude to you. He missed his chance in meeting a new friend in you. His loss.

HUGS!!! He obviously doesn't realize that just because quilts can be made from scraps doesn't mean they have to be. Quilters are still some of the most frugal people around. BOO on him. Maybe he was just having a bad day. Your quilt is just lovely!

Your quilt is stunning I have done quilts both ways .I tend to do machine quilting because of time restraints.I love both ways and all my fabric is new. I have so much fun picking out that special fabric. It is a very special part of my quilt journey.You deserve a big hug and this man had know right to be such a thoughtless human being he has know idea how much time and effort went into your beautiful work of art.Put a smile on your face and be proud of your accomplishment .
