Sounds like the poor old guy was sitting there on a pile of painful hemorrhoids and just had to pass the pain along. Sometimes we just have to learn to ignore certain people. He was living in the past.

It is gorgeous! That gentleman probably does not realize that most clothes do not have the best fabric content for a quilt. And sometimes, you just need that one color that isn't in anyone's closet!
