What an old fart! I am sure glad few people actually agree with that definition of quilting, or we would be missing out on a lot of beautiful quilts, like yours! Hugs to you!

Ignore the ignorant old geezer. He is probnably the type that complains about ANYTHING that wasn't new during his boyhood.

He is just a crabby old man and takes joy in making someone else feel small...Please don't pay attention to him...the quilt is beautiful!

I would like to give the older man the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he has never watched a modern day quilter. Maybe he is remembering back in the old days when they did use scraps because for many that was all they had available. They did do alot piecing by hand. And last but not least....remember he is an older guy. Not saying he should have run your quilt down like he did but maybe there was a reason for him. Just saying! You keep right on quilting! Your quilt is very pretty from my point of view.
