    Your quilting and piecing is beautiful. I feel sorry for someone who can't appreciate beauty when he sees it - and can't keep his mouth shut!

    You've done an awesome job on this quilt. Don't feel small about something that takes a lot of work and effort to create something so very nice.

    He was in the doctor's office. Perhaps his wife brought him there cause he's sick in the head!

    HUG and another HUG!
    Too bad is too little mined to see the wonder in all quilts!
    This one is really beautiful.
    I have a guy in my life who tells me my quilts are ugly all of the time. Last time he said sorry buy, I smiled and said I am glad you think it is ugly cause in the last few years I have learned when you think it is ugly it is the next one I sell.
    Too bad we were not all there to tell him he is clueless and no one makes quilts out of cheap worthless clothes. In the old days clothes were made to last so the scraps were alright to use not so much any more.
    Sorry for the long reply - the guy is CLUE LESS!

    That man was absolutely out of line, and rude! What a social retard. I am sorry try and dismiss his unkind and thoughtless coments. Not to mention women in the 'old' days would have used all our tools if they had just been available. That's like telling a stone mason that his work isn't right because he used modern tools instead of ancient tools...what a jerk.

    By the way your quilt is beautiful.

    WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Old people do not get crabby! They have always been crabby.
    That old man hasn't a clue. You should have told him to mind his own business until he had had spent hours at a sewing machine and in wonderful LQS. Then he could make a statement or voice an opinion about something that he presently knew nothing.
    I never would have said this 15 years ago, but I am officially an OLD lady (65this year).
    I plan on speaking up to defend the rights of Happy old people.

    Wow, did that feel good. Thanks be that we have this wonderful site to vent.
    Bobbielinks, consider this your biggest hug of the day {{ }}
    Those who know me well will understand my bias. LOVE to all

    Oh Sugar! Be glad he met you and not me. :) *laughing*
    Know in your heart that YOU are a good person and that he is a grumpy old person that just needed a hug I guess. Your quilt is beautiful by the way.....someday when I have more time I will tackle one and I hope it looks as beautiful as yours does. Be proud, hold your head high and KNOW that you are appreciated for who you are. ;) Have a great day.
