LOL! Make another pair just like these and you will have two pair--one of each length. I always measure and remeasure everything before I cut or sew it.

Welcome to the world of Whoops. We have all been there and done that. You do have to laugh at yourself when it happens.

    Join the club! :P

That reminds me of the first pair of slacks I tried to "alter" in my middle school days.... alter I did!
Got a pair of shorts out of the deal by the time I was done.

Like the idea of adding something to the bottom after shortening the one on the left...

Yes, either that, or undo the hem, straighten the bottom and put a 'false hem' on the back.

Very brave of you. It only goes to show that our mistakes allow us to pull out our creative juices and make a one of a kind project. Very cute!!!!

Reminds me of when I was first learning to sew. I made a coverall and jacket and bonnet set for my little girl, and when I finished the jacket I discovered one sleeve went straight up and the other one straight down. We've laughed about that for over 50 years!

If you don't want to add a border to your curtains, take out the hem on the short one and face it!

Looks like you've been using my self-made patterns!

I have to confess that I have made far more serious errors and still come out with a good job at the end. Life is a never ending learning process for all of us.

You could cut both panels to the same size and then get a coordinating color and put a new matching bottom on both pieces.
