I thoroughly enjoyed this! You gave us all a laugh and what a great sense of humor! Look on the bright side, it could've happened to a pair of pants!! You can read about my booboo here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-63562-1.htm

And I hope it gives you a great laugh too! Been there; done that. Life is a big learning process! Kudos! :D ;)

Glad you are laughing about it. I think we all have done similar things at one time or another. At least it is an easy fix. The fabric is pretty cool. Love the colors!

I did that to a pair of drapes luckly for me I made one too long so it was a easy fix. In the granddaughter's room I did that so I just added a coordinating fabric to the top and it looked like I meant to do it.

I once made curtains for my mothers kitchen windows form striped material, all nicely done, hung them up, stepped back to admire, and low and behold one curtain had striped going up and down, the other across, and one was shorter than the other, couldn't believe how I had just done that, anyway everyone had a good laugh and I still laugh now when I think of it, in my minds eye I can still see them hanging there.
However, I quickly got them down from there before too many people saw them !!

Oh, I remember now how it happened, I was too busy joking and laughing with my sister and niece as well as sewing and not paying attention to what I was doing the time and this was the result, but all was ok in the end when I undid the across one and sewed it right way up.

I think a lot of errors happen when we loose concentration or get interupted in what we are doing, but it's all good fun !! so long as no one dies what the heck !!!
