Wow, it's gorgeous! I have one side of a duvet cover pieced but not sewn together. That happened last Fall, and it got put on the back burner until a quilt I have a deadline for, gets finished. Right now it's in a large ziploc bag. Someday, when I decide on the pattern for the other side, it get's pieced, then sewn into the duvet, mine will be done. But it won't be as bright as yours. Nicely almost done!

Have you seen any printed sheets lately that are all cotton? They don't seem to make printed sheets anymore. That's what I've used to make 2 duvets in the past. So, I've got one side pieced and have to figure out the other side.

They stopped making them about twelve years ago, for some reason. You can still find a few, but they're crummy little prints usually. It drives me insane. Salespeople claim styles changed, but how many solid sheets can you have? I sure never stopped liking patterned sheets?

It happened about the time thread counts went through the roof. They stopped making percale-weave sheets and charged more more more for 300 - 600 count Egyptian cotton, like no one ever had a good night's sleep on 260 count percale. Don't get me started.

cande, This is gorgeous. I love batiks, also. It's an easy pattern to show off the colors. Eiltcoq.

You list this as your location: south east ND. 60 miles from MN and 25 from SD

I'm originally from Oakes. That's got to be near you?
