Default I'm Not Usually a Lime Person

But my sister had given me some 10" squares a while back, and when I found a block I wanted to try, these are the colors I picked. I had to do it by trial and error, but it came out okay. I think I will try to use similar fabrics for future test blocks, and when I get enough, I can make a lap quilt that will "go together". You know what I mean.

ThT color combination is gorgeous and I really like that block. Good idea for your test blocks so you can end up with a quilt.

I love it! But I love lime. Brilliant idea, I am going to do that myself.

That is the perfect contrast fabric to go with that print. Sort of shabby chic.

those are the colors i used to make my mom a pants outfit in the 60's... thanks for prompting the memories. you did a good job assembling the block.

Like the block and the fabrics you used in it.

For me, I like sampler block quilts to have some common theme - similar colors, or the blocks are made on the same grid.
