    Thanks Marsye for your help. I found these butterflies when I was cleaning out my mom's house. She and my sister started this quilt around the 1930's. The material is from her old aprons and dresses. Second picture is of some of the squares that are not finished. You can see the cardboard that mom used for her template. I need to finish the ones that are not done and then I also have a stack of more butteflies that are cut out but not on a square yet. I have been reluctant to begin because I was afraid I would make a mistake but you all have inspired me to GET GOING and get it done. Hope you enjoy seeing these older squares. I have 54 squares that mom and sister had worked on.
