    I like it. I always thought rag edges on a rag quilt just looks unfinished. Perfect solution!

    All the seams are sewn twice. Including the binding.

    Totally agree with Thimbles, hiya from Mad Chef, I have never bothered with binding a rag quilt but will think again next time. Your work is lovely, what did you use to cut those fantastically neat "fray" pieces?

    I used Heritage Cutlery 6-1/2 inch Rag Quilting Snips VP7 - Klein Cutlery, Bolivar, NY.

    Another board member mentioned them a while ago - they are extremely sharp and very easy to use.

    Just remember to keep the latch on the 'down' side so it doesn't keep hooking itself.
