    Default Improved/glorified 9 patch!

    Just had to show it. Ordered/ recd templates yesterday and finally had to "try" today....hope the pics come thru........they did, don't know why fuzzy?
    The templates are precise, scant 1/4" made everything "meet"......btw those odd shapes on body of templates are no skid thingies.......I even use the parts you're supposed to toss.....they work, I paid for them, so why not!

    Actually that was just a trial run..grabbed some pieces that were on table. Don't know what/ how yet......

    I love that block, too. If I ever make the quilt with it, I'll use jewel tone batiks. I've seen that and it looks like stained glass.

    I've been wondering how to do that block. I didn't realize there were templates for it, but I should've known! Did you find it easy to do? Looks fussy, but fun! Where did you get those templates, if I may ask? Thanks in advance for the info.
