I think that your husband as loving as he may be is thinking inside the box, as quilters we tend to think outside. He was expecting a blue quilt. This will go beyond the crib and be used when he is in his Big Boy Bed! It is just lovely!!! Please keep going with it.

I love your little boy quilt! His parents will love it too, I bet! I have that fabric but haven't decided how to use it yet. I have a nephew in Oklahoma who is an avid team roper and goes to all kinds of rodeos and roping contests. Wins alot of them too. I was thinking I should use it to make him a quilt for his new horse trailer/camper that he pulls around everywhere. Your quilt gives me ideas to do with that fabric now. Congrats on the up-coming arrival.

Lori, it's fine, it's a smashing little quilt. However much we love our husbands, there are times when we have to tell them that blokes know nothing and they have to be man enough to take it.

It is fantastic...a real little boy's quilt. Baby doesn't always equate to pastels and teddy bears.

Lori.....I think the quilt is cute!

I didn't use soft pastels for any of my baby nurseries...This is perfect for a baby cowboy!
