    Baby quilts are actually for the parents and their enjoyment, not babies. I think the baby will enjoy the colors until he learns what a cowboy is. They do like bright colors like red. If you were giving it to me for my baby, I would say Thank you and I would enjoy it.

    I think it is great. Probably not the first thing they will wrap him in, but in a few weeks or months the baby is going to love it!!! I predict it will become a favorite.

    I like to make baby quilts that will last his life. Baby motifs last less than a year. They grow so fast. Cowboys will last till he is 12. It will be remembered for a lifetime. go for it.

    I'm native Texan... and I think this is much better than a traditional " baby " quilt. They grow out of them so fast.
    I think this one is perfect for a Texas boy/

    I love the focus peices... they are amaZing!!

    I think you should keep working on it. I think it is a wonderful quilt and it will be able to be used longer than a "regular" baby quilt.
