    What a wonderful gift! Perhaps she would appreciate a lap quilt or two from you made from her stash? She could keep them or gift them to new friends in her new senior home.

    It is sort of bittersweet...I often then of what will happen with all my stash. I tell you this, it would make me happy to think someone else got half the joy from it that I have.

    I agree that it is wonderful she passed it on to a quilter, but sad that she needed to. I told a mother-daughter quilting pair that they get first choice of my quilting supplies and equipment when I go, which lead to a lot of joking around.
