    I made this runner from a pattern in an old issue of Quiltmaker.
    At the time I was also making the Sunflower flip flop quilt and had lots of scraps so I decided to make this with the leftovers. The stems of the flowers were supposed to be bias cut and appliqued, but I was having too much touble getting the fabric to bend as much as I needed it to, so I gave up and did them in a wide satin stitch. It was much easier.

    This is wonderful. The colors are so bright and cheerful and it is really warm and welcoming. Thank you for sharing.
