    Thanks Kathy! They have a 10 bed unit for the moms and their babies so there are no more than 10 babies at one time. So far I've sent 6 quilts and will be sending 2 more by the end of the week. My hope is to have a surplus so that as new babies are born and accepted to the program there will be an immediate availability of a quilt...maybe even a choice for the mom to make. The moms who are chosen for the program can have no more than 18 months left on their sentences. There is a bit of a turnover, but I'm sure I can get to the point where every single baby will receive a quilt.

    Well worth the effort - it's a beauty. I'm sure it will add a splash of brightness to what I believe would be a pretty dismal place.

    Great contribution to babies of prison Moms......maybe knowing there are caring people will help with Mom's rehabilition.
