Indigo Hopscotch Quilt Finished!!!!

I love your quilt! It reminds me of one I made for my son for Christmas a year ago. It's a "lap" quilt, but he's 6'2", so I think it came out as a single size bed size!
He lives on the "other" coast: I live in Calif and he lives in Maryland. Whenever I go out to visit, he gladly takes me quilt shop hopping. I found out he loved batiks that way. So this quilt was a natural.
It was from McCalls Quilting magazine April 2008 and was called Gumballs. My son plays the piano so I called his "Paul Plays the Blues"
It was a very easy quilt to do.

I didn't use stash. I spent a few months picking up a yard here, and a yard there, at the quilt shops I could get to. I tried to pick fabrics that said "am I blue or am I purple?" but I couldn't resist some obvious purples, too.
