Oh my gosh. Talk about humbling. Those are absolutely fabulous. They should be in the Smithsonian.

I had about 15 minutes to see all the quilts, as once I got out of class, it was close to closing.. so I had to rush through and I didn't take time to look at the entrant's names.
I have the booklet that names them all.. but.. errr.. I may not be able to match up the info with individual quilts...

Sorry. Maybe UglyCook took pictures of the info for each quilt....(she was there too and should have some pics to post)

Same here - think that I will quit even before I start quilting.

Opps. "Body with Rope" should be "Nude with Rope"

OH! Don't quit! These pictures should inspire, not deflate! The possibilities are endless. I will never achieve the greatness shown here.. but I am gonna have fun trying.
LOL.. I was happy with doing a straight grid and Stitch in the Ditch. Now I still find the ol' SITD useful, but ohh, what fun I will have trying to make a loopity loop, or squiggley things or, gosh darn it.. feathers!

Well rats!! This is the first year I've missed in four years. Looks like an incredible show! I just might have to buy the CD (and yes, they are worth every penny!!!)

There really wasn't all that much info about the quilts. I was walking around stunned. I usually don't like so much machine quilting, but at this level it truly is art.

There was a whole booth filled with Sharon Shamber stuff, so I'm sure some of it was at least inspired by her.
