I like it with the sashing but I think a darker pink sashing to match the stars in the print would be pretty.

I like it either way. The fabric is adorable with the little dancers.

my two cents--I like the pattern created when you just use the blocks. creates some "action" in the quilt. such soft, cuddly colors, she will love it.

You would not believe how many different pinks I have but not enough. So on Thursday I will have to go get some more. I designed the blocks so they would go together with out sashing. For some reason I can only send one of the latest pictures to you.

This is the only dark pink I have. I origionallydid the block to set side by side.

I vote for the sashing. It sets it off better. But then I am new at quilting.

I like the pink sashing. sashing helps separate the blocks and makes them a little more prominate in the quilt top.
And it also helps enlarge the quilt to a more usable size.

I like the zing that the dark pink adds but I too liked the secondary pattern made with no sashing.

I like the sashing best. Really sets it off.

Try a yellow sashing, I think that will make the center blocks pop more.

My reasoning is the pink isn't contrasting enough as a sashing, and it's having the blocks blend. If you use a contrasting it will make them stand out more.
