This site has so inspired me to get my 6 year old Granddaughter sewing, I don't get to see her often as she lives 500 miles away but gave her her own machine this last weekend. She had a ball. (I bought her machine at a garage sale for 2.00. and it is even lock stitch!
Emily and Katie were great inspirations!

Izy, You are right he told her "if you can't figure it out I will help you" I hope to get to Walmart today to work on her stash- Wish she was still here so we could do it together. She did tell me some favorite colors tho.

You guys are so awsome for offering. I am fairly new at quilting only about 6 months so don't have a large stash to offer her. She was so excited. She douldn't wait for me to get pieces cut. She will learn all out that in a few weeks when we see her again. I can PM you the address. Thanks again.

    She is so cute!!

You are a wonderful grandmother to help her make her first block and to buy her first sewing machine!!!

I would give anything to have my grandchildren only 500 miles away. I live on the east coast and my grandchildren live on the west coast. :(
