    The placemat (and 3 others just like it) were pieced with cotton fabris, quilted and bound just like any other quilted project. I wanted to be sure they were washable.

    The face parts are pieces of fabric that were fused to timtex and satin stitched around the edges. It was all very easy and I'm really happy with the results. I'm already playing with ideas of other placemats to make for them.
