International Round Robin, Round 5 Discussion and pics

I forgot to post this before :oops: :oops: :oops: Sorry
Here is my round added to your centre I put a thin purple & pink border on first, & it was amazing how it made the pink in the centre block just pop right on out. Then initially I added a wide green border which I did like. Then after a lot of deliberation (sounds as if I was in court LOL), I thought no, no that's just too plain so I decided to make up the corner blocks as per your green & white 16 patch block & pop a purple block either side then finally finish with another thin pink border inbetween the purple blocks.
As you can see I had to struggle to get it laid out on the floor & didn't have enough room hence why it looks slightly ruffled, these quilts are so big you could get the whole family under one LOL.
I just pray now that you likey, likey???

I just discovered this thread and WOW what talent! I would love to do a round robin sometime but geeeeeeee.......I don't think I would do it justice, so I'll just admire ya'lls work!

You'd be able to do it - this was my first IRR. If I can do it so can you, it may take a little time for the quilt to talk to you but we all get there adventually.
We have just started the 2nd IRR - you ought to take a look that the centres that have been posted so far.
Maybe you can join in on the next IRR we do which won't be for at least another year.

Ifw045.. alot of us just took a plunge and joined up the IRR. I had never done one and haven't been quilting all that long either. It is loads of fun and believe me, you have lots of help with your group folks. You can watch this years...then we'll be looking for you to join us next year!
