I learned to sew on one that looks a lot like her. It was my mom's and my daughter has it now.
Will keep watching to find out what you learn about her birthday.

She looks like the 99 I inherited from my grandmother. It's nice that she is in such a loving home.

So for those who were interested, she was born in Edinburgh early 1950. I do know that she had only one owner, and that she was extremely well looked after. I will speak to the daughter of her previous wowner soon, and see if she remembers anything more. Although
I tend to think she was bought to make baby clothes/childrens clothes when the daughter was born. The daughter was the 4th child in a family of 5 children, all the rest were boys. Luckily I know them all, and canask as many questions as I like.
Should probably ask if the daughter would like her mothers
machine back, as I know she sews.
    Thanks for the interest.

Beautiful machine, I'm happy for you. You are lucky to know some of the history on it.
