    When I started learning SID, I used the thread that has the most contrast, to encourage myself to get better at it, and the babies didn't mind. Lol!

    Your quilt is lovely. I used to try and SID but that wasn't for me now I sew about 1/8 away from seem or I use a decorative stitch

    beautiful quilt-I love those bright colors and the back is perfect!! I rarely stitch in the ditch. Only if I have a lot of time because I go slooow. I do stitch over the ditch with a serpentine. No pressure that way. lol.

    Perfect quilt for a new baby. The colors will definitely be a great stimulant for the eyes, therefore making a nice alert baby. Great job on the SITD. I give anyone credit who attempts any kind of quilting. Good for you!
