Default Iowa rest stop quilt blocks

What a delightful surprise to find these 'barn quilts' on the outside and the quilt blocks in the floor of the inside of the rest stop. They are in/on the rest stop on I80 on the east side of the state. The drunkards path tile in the floor was not very recognizable.

I would have been like you spending the time to take pictures. I wonder how this decoration of the rest stop got started. I bet the story is as good as the results.

That is fantastic. Maybe quilting is coming back to everyone if they are displayed on the wall and floor of a rest stop! Thanks for sharing.

Drunkard's Path not recognizable? Well of course! These are great - and it's nice they labeled them for folks who don't know.
