    I just start coloring in softly and add more color where the shading is. Where the white and highlights are you don't color at all. It is a very forgiving medium. Just make sure you use good quality fabric with a close weave.

    wow! Iris is one of my favorite. Your veining is surpurb as is the rest of the flower. Very realistic.

    I love it...there was a featured artist at the Salt Lake City show who had amazing quilts she had done with colored pencils...I love what you have done..:)
