I am very impressed with your talent! You have done an excellent job drawing my favorite flower, and I wish you all the success in the world getting it made into a wall hanging just like you want it to be. It is so beautiful. I would really love having that kind of talent. God has blessed you, richly. ;)

I have a question about your colored pencils. Does the color whole up? Do you have to heat set the color? I have used crayons to so some blocks and have to heat set each section as you do them. I have never used colored pencils but I think I will try them also. By the way I love your Iris block. They are very beautiful. You did a wonderful job on them.

It won't be very washable at all. Ask me how I know! I couldn't find anything that would set the color.

Now I use plain old ordinary inexpensive Crayola brand crayons. It's amazing what you can do with Crayolas and heat setting your work makes it very durable. What's more, if it fades, you can re-color it. froggyintexas

I am not sure about the washability of colored pencils. Crayons will hold up but I don't know for how long. I didn't figure I would have to wash a wall hanging. If it gets too dirty I guess I will toss it. A lady did tell me to use fabric medium and it would be washable.
