    Here's some pics of an applique wall hanging I did in batiks of some irises to look like stained glass. It's based on a pattern by Brenda Henning in a book called "Impressionist Stained Glass". Her version only had two large flowers and 1 bud, so I modified it to make a larger and wider version as shown. It measures 31" x 31". I used 1/8" fusible black bias tape to create the leading and then top-stitched it down on both edges of the tape.

    That is just stunning!!! Great job!!! The stain glass fabric surrounding the flowers is just drop dead georgous!!

    Gorgeous. And at just the right time for year, we bought our first Iris of the year this weekend. I've always wanted to try stained glass, but always feel intimidated.

    Holy cow Eddie! Wow that is just beautiful and really looks like stained glass! It is amazing how far you have branched out in quilting and how well you do at everything you try!

    Speaking of stained glass, how is your cathedral windows coming along?
